I lived in China for more than 20 years and I continue to be inspired by the people, culture and language. With thousands of years of history and a rapidly developing future, China will continue to be a key player in the global economy. Learning to read, write and speak Chinese is a challenge but I remain committed to being able to effectively communicate with one of the largest and most important populations on earth.
Wellness
I believe in the active process of becoming aware of and making choices toward a healthy and fulfilling life. Hiking, swimming, bike riding and meditation are all activities I enjoy. We are what we eat and I mostly eat healthy while also being flexible on special occasions. I also feel having a positive attitude is very important.
Travel
Ever since I went on a family vacation to England when I was 12 years old, I was hooked on travel. Since then I have traveled to many countries and I have lived nearly half my life outside the United States. I feel that travel opens the mind to new ideas and helps put life into perspective.
